Take Flight

 

When you’re overly concerned about reaching new heights,

And you’re paralysed by fear, like a deer in headlights,

Dare to dance boldly in spite of stage fright,

Release those inner butterflies and let them take flight.

 

Whether you’re used to mollycoddling or scolding,

Or being halfway up a ladder that no one’s holding,

Have faith in yourself to make things right,

Be brave, use your wings and just take flight.

 

Just remember that life isn’t all plain sailing,

There are times of succeeding and times of failing,

So summon all your courage and spirit for fight,

Dare to take a chance and just take flight.
