Some nights I return to Flamingo City,
When I dream sweet dreams of the atmosphere that’s so pretty,
Though to really be there, I’m sure I’d have to travel miles.
It was the elaborate, medieval houses and the soothing song of the river,
That triggered me to fall in love there and feel that familiar shiver,
Whenever I get to escape to that world that only lasts for a while.
Flamingo City foreshadows my destiny,
It never tires to bring out the best in me,
A fulfilling world that offers opportunities and freedom.
Where I can just take in the fresh air and tranquility,
And know there are a million possibilities,
That’s what makes me never want to have to wake up and leave them.
I am content when I’m just strolling across those bridges,
Forgetting my current troubles in life, those like stinging midges,
I can enjoy the simple pleasures without negative influences clouding how I feel.
So, whether happiness is found in the thrill of playing bingo,
Or in admiring the delicate beauty of a flamingo,
While Flamingo City exists only for me, I know peace and joy are definitely real.
